![]() The interesting part is that apparently the 750 Euro I paid was actually just a deposit, it's not until the offense goes to court that I'll know for sure if the 750 was enough, indeed there are many cases reported where the court will apply a 1,000 Euro fine to drivers who paid their 750 Euro roadside deposit. My French driving ban is likely to be either three or six months from the date the court processes the offense. I still have no clear confirmation of my driving ban in France or when it's effective from but from what I've read the case will need to go to court first before the ban becomes effective. However I can confirm the speedo on the Lambo was reading 153mph and still climbing strongly when I glanced down at it (246kph) and flicked the paddle into 6th, the thing is apparently if you hit 220kph or above they have the right to impound the car so I think I got away lightly!!! I wasn't even in 'Ol Gasbag', this time I was driving my mate's Lamborghini Galardo Syder which was having engine management issues, I did tell Le Plod I was trying the clear a lambda sensor fault but to be honest as an excuse it didn't go down that wellĪfter some research it actually seems the French cops may have been kind to me, be warned just 50kph (31 mph) over the limit puts you firmly in the 750 club and according to Le Plod they recorded me at 202kph (125.5mph) in a 110 kph controlled zone, that puts me 92 kph over. ![]() Sorry to hear that mate, how did you get it Dave? Was it radar trap or camera?Cheers Mac, it was a radar trap mate
